Measure it all with FastChar

The most in-depth ion characterization tool for solar cells available

The setup combines 9 measurement techniques and facilitates the analysis of ionic loss processes in solar cells. Our product includes instrumentation with software and support with data interpretation.

The Setup

FastChar Setup

Our tool is composed of state-of-the-art instrumentation. The end product is a compact, easy-to-handle setup.

FastChar Software

The Software

It also includes a ready-to-use software to perform smart measurement routines.

New add-on modules

Add-on module to track ionic losses in periodic intervals losses during maximum power point tracking (MPPT). Extendable to multiple (>32) parallel channels.

Add-on module to track ionic in periodic intervals during temperature aging. With programmable temperature control unit.

FastChar integrated with maximum power point tracking

Measurements

The setup can carry out a wide range of solar cell characterization measurements from transient to steady-state to help researchers understand the working mechanism of thin film solar cells.

Its high precision enables JV measurements with load resistances of 1 Ohm similar to Keithley SMU's while extending the scan rate to >1000 V/s.

Perovskite Research

Our team is at the forefront of perovskite solar cell research to understand the role of ion-migration on cell performance and degradation. At SolarSense Technologies we support all our clients with the interpretation of data obtained with our setup. Discover recent research articles related to the product.
